The Landlords Choice Property Management operate an ‘out of hours’ service for our managed properties so that in the event of an emergency tenants are always able to contact someone.
Please note: You should only contact our ‘out of hours’ service in a genuine emergency. Contractors charge extremely high rates for out of hours work, therefore if the call out is deemed not to have been necessary or warranted then tenants can be liable for the call out charge.
Out of hours – any time outside the hours of 8am-8pm, Mon – Fri.
What is an out of hours emergency?
Open all doors and windows to ventilate the property.
Do not turn on/off any electrical switches.
Extinguish all naked flames, do not smoke, strike matches or do anything which could cause ignition.
If there are any electrical security entry phones/locks, please open door manually.
Never throw water on an electrical fire. If possible, disconnect the faulty appliance or turn off the power. Keep a multi-purpose fire extinguisher handy at all times.
What is definitely NOT an emergency?
